Enterprise ERP and CRM systems
Continent IT’s enterprise platform services cover ERP, CRM and custom business management systems. A project starts with the processes that need connecting: enquiries, deals, records, tasks and reporting. Identify the existing data and its authoritative source before discussing automation.
Discuss your project →Tasks to discuss
- Enquiry and customer workflows: statuses, owners and interaction history.
- Connecting departments and systems: exchange rules and reducing duplicate entry.
- Management reporting: metrics, sources and viewing permissions.
What to include in your enquiry
- How does the process work today, and where do delays or repeated work occur?
- Which systems are used? Are integration documents and sample data structures available?
- Who uses or changes the data, and which reports do managers need?
What determines the estimate
Estimation considers process count, roles, integrations and the condition of data to migrate. Product licences and post-launch support are discussed separately. Define the first phase and agree on verifiable acceptance workflows before estimating.
Questions before starting a project
Should I choose CRM, ERP or a focused integration?
Start with the process that needs changing. CRM usually focuses on customers and sales, while ERP covers broader resource and operational records. If the problem is data exchange between functioning systems, an integration may be sufficient. Choose after identifying data, roles and required reporting.
How should a data migration be prepared?
Describe sources, volume, required fields and duplicate handling. Anonymised sample structures can support estimation. Before cutover, agree on a trial migration, record-count and relationship checks, who approves the result and the conditions for reverting to the previous system.
