Waterproofing services in Astrakhan
Continent provides waterproofing for foundations, basements, roofs and concrete structures. Choosing a solution starts with identifying where water enters: through a surface, crack, joint or service penetration. Surface treatment and local sealing address different problems; the scope depends on the condition of the particular area.
Discuss your project →Tasks to discuss
- Basements and underground spaces: walls, floors, junctions and service penetrations.
- Joints and cracks: local sealing, with injection considered where appropriate.
- Roofs and exposed areas: assessment of the substrate, existing covering and repair boundaries.
What to include in your enquiry
- Where and when does water appear: continuously, after rain or during snowmelt?
- What is the substrate, and are there existing coatings, cracks or joints?
- What area is accessible? Include an overview and close-up photographs of the affected locations.
What determines the estimate
The estimate depends on preparation and access, area, joint length, local defects and the selected material system. Area alone does not define the repair scope. Include the project location and access restrictions; costs, materials and timing are agreed on enquiry.

Questions before starting a project
Can basement leaks be addressed from inside?
Internal access can be considered when the outside is inaccessible. First, the water source and substrate condition need to be assessed: a damp surface, a crack and a joint require different approaches. Send photographs and explain when water appears. The feasibility and limits of an internal repair depend on the property assessment.
How does surface waterproofing differ from injection grouting?
Surface waterproofing creates a protective layer on a prepared substrate. Injection grouting treats a crack, joint or void within a structure. The methods may complement each other on the same project. A price per square metre alone is not a suitable comparison: injection also depends on the length, depth and nature of the defect.
